Nibs n Nirvana Shatakam @NibsnNaach

Nirvana Shatakam is 6 verses (Shatakam) by Shankaracharya on Nirvana – End of the cycle of birth and death and all the pairs of opposites that come between these two occurrings.

This particular dance was performed & choreographed by myself for the occasion of Shivratri 2017. It was on a recitation of Nirvana Shatakam by Rahul Solapkar feat Tom Alter in the album ‘In Search of God’.(https://www.amazon.com/Nirvana-Shatakam/dp/B0077RYXLG)

This dance was first conceived, choreographed and performed at Siddhabari, Himachal Pradesh (December 2016)- the abode of Swami Chinmayananda. Creativity flows in the Guru’s presence, the Lord alone can make it express through you and even give you the capacity to be an instrument – this was a classic example of that.

A wonderful commentary available on Nirvana Shatakam in Chinmaya Mission. (www.chinmayabooks.com)
